Unfinished Business: Bonny Eagle High School's Class of 89 officially unofficial reunion show

Tickets on sale Feb 11, 2019

"We've got spirit, we are fine. We're the class of 89" -- or was it, "Party hearty, rock and roll, drink a beer, smoke a bowl?" -- something like that. It's possible it was, "I don't know, how 'bout you? I haven't got a friggin' clue."

In any case, this is the officially unofficial reunion of both the class of 89 and Unfinished Business.

What's left to say about the class of 89, really? Its glories and triumphs have been well-covered in most history text books and finer supermarket tabloids: Sixteen felony convictions for excessive gravel pit partying, twelve Nobel Prizes for erotic lobsterman literature, several scientific improvements to Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy and, of course, the internationally infamous incident at the inaugural Istanbul mullet festival and pageant.

Troy Bennett, Dean Clegg and Rob Babson rocked the halls of BE back in the day as the three-piece noise combo Unfinished Business. After graduation that summer, they went on to major international success (not really) touring Europe, America and the Subcontinent (they wish). The boys then inked a six-figure (make believe) deal with Pretend Records in LA (Lewiston-Auburn). In the fall, they had several (none) hit videos is heavy (non-existent) rotation on MTV. By Christmas, the fame had gone to their (swelled) heads and they were hospitalized after a (sadly) failed attempt to strangle each other with soiled Holiday Inn bath towels. Then, like all legends, Unfinished Business sank into obscurity.

Now, after a 30 year hiatus, they've buried the hatchet (not in each other's skulls) and are ready to host this officially unofficial BE Class of 89 Reunion -- and you don't have to be from the Class of 89 to come. If you went to Bonny Eagle, close enough.

All net proceeds are going to the P. Michael Bourgoin Scholarship Fund. Mr. Bourgoin taught theatre and film at BE. He's sadly gone now and sorely missed. Mr. Bourgion always urged us to have fun, get creative and -- most of all -- be wonderful.

Let's be wonderful together
